Hailee Hathcock Wilkeshas always been aGossip Girlfan, especially after falling in love with the chic, upscale style of the show’s Upper East Side Queen, Blair Waldorf.
In the lead-up to the party, Wilkes instructed all her guests to arrive in white. However, she kept the fact that she’d secured the exact Blair Waldorf dress a secret until the first night of the trip when they watchedGossip Girl’s"Summer Kind of Wonderful" episode.
She says, “I kind of did a little reveal for all my friends then! They all knew the dress and how iconic it was—so it was so fun getting all of their reactions!”

At the party, Wilkes donned the dress and shared a video of the final look onTikTok, which has gone viral with 324,000 views. In addition to the dress, theGossip Girllover accessorized the look with a similar white bow headband to the one Blair wore. She also paired the dress with white-pointed heels and wore her hair in curls.
She adds, “I’m not sure if I’ll wear it again, but hopefully I’ll pass it down to a daughter or niece one day if they’re into fashion like I am.”

Since posting Wilkes – who also hosted an entireGossip Girl-themed party in NYC last year for her 26th birthday – says people have reached out wondering how she’d tracked down the dress. “Share the dress deetsssss,” one person commented on her TikTok. “I SEARCHED like crazy for that dress 5 years ago,” another person wrote.
So, she posted anotherTikTokvideo with all the details of the vintage dress. She adds that it’s been so fun to see otherGossip Girlfans interested in her look.
“I didn’t really plan out that specific post, but knew how iconic the dress was, so I decided to post it to TikTok for all the other Gossip Girl-lovers out there,” she says. “I’m always posting my outfits and party inspo to my social pages, and I’ve been so happy with the response to this one in particular!”
She continues: “Everyone has been so supportive and positive about the video, which is so fun to see!”
