Selling the OCstar Sean Palmieri is leaving theOppenheim Group.
“After much consideration, I’ve decided to part ways with the Oppenheim Group. I am very excited about this new chapter in my career and eager to embark on a journey that closely aligns with my professional aspirations and personal growth," he said in a statement to PEOPLE.
Palmeri is ready to explore potential opportunities in a new market, telling ET, “Returning to the serene atmosphere of San Diego County, where I first ventured from Florida to California, brings me great joy. I’m eager to explore the opportunities that lie ahead for my business and success in this vibrant community.”

Palmieri had been part of theSelling Sunsetspin-off since its season one premiere in August 2022. The show focused on the launch of the Oppenheim Group’soffice in Orange County, California.
BeforeSelling the OCdebuted on Netflix,the Florida native told PEOPLE that he became a part of the showafter being introduced to Oppenheim Group co-founderJason Oppenheim. He explained that the two met after he began working around the same group of agents that Oppenheim worked with in Beverly Hills.
Oppenheimopened up about the drama between the castin a conversation with PEOPLE inSeptember 2022.
“I think there’s just a lot more drama and interpersonal issues between the agents,” he said. “They find themselves in an office working together, but I don’t know if they necessarily would’ve chosen each other as friends.”
Selling the OCreturned for itssecond season in Septemberand recently dropped itsseason three trailer. The premiere date for season three has not been announced.
