Nick Jonashas a good sense of humor about hisongoing wedding celebrations.
The singer, 26, poked fun at himself on Instagram Friday morning, while sharing a photo taken with wifePriyanka Chopra, 36, as they posed in black tie attire. “Walking into wedding reception 100047 like…” Jonas wrote in the image caption.
Jonas wore a classic black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bow tie. Chopra, with her arm around Jonas, looked glamorous in a sleeveless black gown designed with sheer panels, lace, and colorful diagonal striped panels. She carried a small black clutch.
“Haha just kidding,” Jonas said. “So happy to celebrate our friends @armiehammer and @elizabethchambers and the amazing work they have done with @learninglabventures.”
She was also photographed snuggling up to Jonas while watching the gala, placing her head on his shoulders.
Learning Lab Ventures have hosted their annual event for the past eight years. And if that weren’t enough, thenewlywedstoasted their nuptials at a party in North Carolina on Sunday among friends and family in the town of Belmont — where the singer’s father,Kevin Jonas, Sr., grew up and the family owns a restaurant, Nellie’s Southern Kitchen.
Chopra beamed in a white strapless dress with appliqué detail, while her husband went casual in a green shirt and dark pants, social media posts reveal. The pair’s signature “NP” logo design, which connects the sides of their first initials, was incorporated into cocktail napkins. A sign outside the party read “Congratulations Nick and Priyanka.”

“It was just three days!” the new Mrs. Jonas explained, defending herself. “One Indian ceremony and one western Christian ceremony, and one day of pre-rituals — which we have in the Hindu wedding. But it was not, like … usually Indian weddings are a thousand people, at least. We only had 200, which was mostly family because both of us have giant families.”
The couple’s desire to keep their nuptials “super intimate” and “just family” did appear to cause some tension between Chopra and her mother.
“For an Indian family and an Indian wedding, [it was small] for sure,” Chopra said, joking, “My mother was so upset with me the whole time. She was like, ‘I need to have another wedding for the other 150,000 people that I know! How can I not invite my jeweler? How can I not invite my hairdresser?’ So it was a whole conversation.”
“When you have 100 people in your family … my dad’s side, my mom’s side, they have brothers, sisters, cousins, kids, it’s like a whole thing,” Chopra added.
