The tears are flowing for the cast ofJane the Virginas the series nears its final episode.
“Ends are always hard. We’ve grown up together. Been through massive life moments together. Through joy and pain. These are real friendships. Not ‘show friendships,’ ” he continued. “It’s the end of an era but the beginning of so many incredible things.
Baldoni said the series “has given birth to so much beauty in all of our lives” as well as “tears” — “But they are tears of gratitude,” wrote the star, who plays Rafael Solanoon the hit CW dramedy. “I’m going to miss this family. I’m ready for what’s next … but not quite yet. We have three more weeks together.”

In December, PEOPLE confirmedan in-the-works spin-offofJane the Virginthat, according toThe Hollywood Reporter,will “follow a storyline from the flagship series” but feature a new cast.Jane the Virginscribe Valentina Garza will write and serve as executive producer alongside Rodriguez, 34, and showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman.
“It is fantastic. The pilot is unbelievable,” Rodriguez said of the spin-off during the 2019 Winter Television Critics Association press tour in January. “We hope we cangive something just as great as we didwithJane the Virgin.”
