As XTC - Files and Battlestar Galactica taught us , scientific discipline fiction tv set can offer up delightfully paranoid comment on US government guile . Why is n’t V taking advantage of this ? The show has already hinted that it has conservative political relation , but keep wimping out on going all the mode . I call back if the show is hold up to succeed as a story , its politics should be sharpen up – that could sharpen the storyline too .

We have already seen that the Vs are meeting with government officials and manipulating the media into only saying gracious things about them . How about turn the Vs into lawful puppetmasters who are behind a plot to turn the US government soft ? We could see the Vs requesting menacingly behind closed threshold that the president needs to scale back US missions in space , and destroy the one military prison house adeptness ( Gitmo ) where we could really get answer . Their next move is to trick Obama ( erm I mean that guy who is chairperson in the five macrocosm ) into preventing the intelligence operation community from develop its cyber powers . First they will weaken us , then roll out the next phase of their plan . . .
