Our endless national nightmare is , by some impossible miracle , almost over . Today , barring any major security or Trump - have-to doe with disaster , the state will elect the next president of the United States .
It ’s been a long journey , full oftapes , email , cabal possibility , non - existent tax returns , puss bows , non - consensual pussy grabbing , Weiners ( of both theAnthony varietyand themore ecumenical variety),polls , tweets,!,different way to say “ angry orange troll,”Ken Bone , walls , bros , Cruz spittle , “ rigging,”hacks , plagiarism , escalators , Aleppo , andsmall hands .
Along the elbow room , we ’ve had a great mountain of mostly awful comment from the common suspect : pundits , the medium , your aunt on Facebook , and Rudy Giuliani . But there is one radical whose tone - deaf and buffoonish stimulation I will perversely leave out , and it is Silicon Valley . Throughout the political campaign , our favorite tech luminaries have been right there to chime in with their cherished thoughts .
