On Thursday evening, the Oscar winner, 51, attended the closing ceremony of the 2023Red Sea International Film Festivalin Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Paltrow wore a vibrant yellow sarong gown that included shirred puff sleeves, which had a ruching effect that gathered at the oversized belted bow at her waist. The dress featured a modest boat neckline and a thigh-high slit at the center of the dress. The bright gown is from Carolina Herrera’s Resort 2024 collection.

Paltrow accessorized the look with a pair of yellow opened-toe platform heels and a pair of diamond and gold drop earrings and a few dainty rings. She styled her blonde hair with a slick back bun; she kept her makeup as vibrant as her dress and wore peach-tinted lipgloss and bright mauve eyeshadow.
During a discussion at the festival, the actress shared with “In Conversation” moderator Jomana Al-Rashid that her mother,Blythe Danner, played an important role inhow she perceived acting early on.
“My mother is an actress. She did mostly theater. And so I grew up as a little girl watching her rehearse plays and running around the theater," Paltrow shared, perVariety.
“My mother would even say she always felt a bit insecure,” she added. “When she was on stage, she was the most powerful, integrated force of nature that I have ever seen. And so I wanted to be that.”

Ahead of Paltrow’s arrival to Saudi Arabia, theEmmaactress attendedThe Fashion Awards 2023at The Royal Albert Hall in London on Monday. There,she was dressed in an all-red vintage Valentino outfit.
Paltrow wore a strapless, empire-waist gown from the designer’s autumn/winter 1965 couture collection, according toBritishVogue. The dress featured a neckline with a plunging middle section and a thigh-high slit.
The look was accessorized with a long, dramatic Valentino cape and a pair of matching stiletto heels, two wrist bangles and a pair of dangle-down earrings.
