There’s always room for one more atGordon Ramsay’s house!

The Michelin-starred chef, 57, opened up about life with six kids while speaking with PEOPLE about his new Miami restaurant,Lucky Cat.

“This morning, Oscar said, ‘Wouldn’t it be nice if Jesse and I had a little sister?’ And I spat my Cheerios out. So yeah, I had to get up from the table and walk away,” he quipped.

The innocently candid question from one of his youngest kids truly shocked the restaurateur — but he tells PEOPLE that another kid isn’t out of the question.

“I didn’t wait to see Tana’s reaction. I literally coughed my Cheerios out all over the table. So yeah, listen, who knows, right?” he reveals.

Anticipating the birth of Jesse was “a nerve wracking 9 months,” Tana wrote in the birth announcement late last year. In 2016, she experienced apregnancy loss at 20 weekswith their son Rocky.

“We’re still super respectful and incrediblyremorseful about losing Rocky. And so that was a significant moment in the family’s lives. And so we tread with caution this time around and we were blessed,” Ramsay tells PEOPLE of Jesse’s birth. “Jesse’s really helped bring everyone even closer. And then that level of responsibility again, is just even more exciting. I want to be six times better as a dad than I was twenty-five years ago to Megan.

As a dad in his late fifties, Ramsay says having an infant is “keeping me younger,” which is definitely evident in his many business ventures, including his latest: the opening of Lucky Cat in Miami.

“Lucky Cat for me is a culinary insight to 15 years traveling across Asia, Southeast Asia, Kyoto, Tokyo. And having studied that Asian influence for the last decade and a half, it’s something that I’ve really been excited about conceptualizing for a while,” Ramsay tells PEOPLE.

Ramsay says his favorite part about the menu is that it’s all about the “joy of sharing.” From the “local flair” of the raw bar to dishes like Kyoto cucumbers, spicy yellowtail and maki rolls that are “second to none,” theKitchen Nightmaresstar is exceedingly proud of his vision.

“Miami is one of the most exciting culinary melting pots, and diverse and incredibly mixed,” he says. “It’s not like going out for a subdued dinner in New York in a quiet neighborhood in Brooklyn or Williamsburg. Miami is bright, it’s brash, it’s energized and it’s absolutely compelling.”
