Will Google pull round with its financials intact ? This is the question absolutely no one is asking today after it was learned the company will be forced to pay a Pittsburgh duo $ 1 for trespassing . And yes , they are the Borings .
Aaron and Christine Boring , of Franklin Park , sued Google back in 2008 for taking a picture of their dwelling using the wide bang and malignedStreet Viewfeature find inGoogle Maps . To lose it the picture , the Borings said , the Google Street View car would have had to force by a posted “ No Trespassing ” sign and continue on for 1,000 feet before go out the house .
From their soapbox last week , the Borings comparedtheir $ 1 victoryto the civil rights movement and Mad Men era intimate discrimination :

“ This is about correct and improper . Maybe my customer and I are hopeless romantics , but I suppose some mass said the same thing in 1950 about a manly executive calling distaff staff ‘ truelove / dear , ’ or African Americans just sitting a few butt farther in the back of the bus topology , ” [ Gregg ] Zegarelli said .
Google , for its part , continued on with business , acting like a multi - billion dollar company that had just fall back a dollar bill . Even though the opinion means Google has admitted wrongdoing and that it did indeed trespass , Street View will remain dynamic and unaffected . [ AP ]
