Who knew Google was enshroud an artistic touch in Google Earth ? Clement Valla , an artist , fiddled with Google Earth and find some amazingly surrealist image . turn out , when you zoom in at just the right angle , bridge sag dramatically , 2D route look pasted on in a 3D earth and the total world calculate like it ’s run .
Here ’s what Valla says about the pictures :
“ The images are screenshots from Google Earth with basic color registration and cropping . I am collect these young typologies as a substance of conservation – as Google Earth improves its 3D models , its terrain , and its orbiter imagery , these strange , surrealist depictions of our built environment and its relation to the instinctive landscape painting will disappear in favour of unspoilt illusionistic imagery .

Valla wants to keep these simulacrum so that we think of how awkward technology and reality once co - existed . I just have it off ’em cause they ’re funny lookin ’ . [ Clement VallaviaDVICE ]
I love how the bridge disappears and then pop out back up again .
Bridges really get twisted in Valla ’s collection .

Gnarly drive .
This would make for a capital roller coaster , really .
