They were very confused with how to market our show … And I think , at long last , I conceive it ’s one of the reason they lost the desire to make a winner out of it . It ’s very easy to say , ‘ we have a nice cop show we execute really well for you . ’ It ’s harder to say , ‘ we have a character - based easy lay that ’s got some bizarre element to it .
