We open this week with D’avin and a bit of wittiness . After all that ’s transpire in the last couple of weeks , he ’s on his own , collecting downhearted - story countenance . His current one is a really grandiloquent hombre with anger management issues and a really bit pull . While they campaign , they knock over a handcart being push by Alvis and his monastic friends : they ’re transporting gun for their revolution . D’av catch one of their grenade and pockets it for later .

When Dutch aim back to Lucy , she and John get back up to speed with their own banter and some training . John tell her that he ’s bring forth a surprise : Carleen ( from a couple of episode ago ) has fixed the neural link , and he tell her that they can find out Khlyen now . She sets up a mesa with some equipment , and they stick Dutch on it : they ’ll be capable to track his mastermind wave and figure out where he ’s located . Dutch junkie out : she ’s worried that she ’s never been free from him : has her life been manipulated even after she remember she escaped him ? They start to formulate a plan to infiltrate the RAC .
While they ’re design , D’av come by and tells them that he can help – being a former soldier , he ’s got the skillset to get them in . Dutch convinces John to allow him in , and they fill him in . D’av goes to Alvin and tell him that he ’s unforced to help him if he gets some assistance in return .
While Dutch sleep , she woolgather of when she first met Khlyen – he meet her as a tike , and enjoin her that she was special , and that he was go to train her . She has some deeply conflicting feelings about confronting her surrogate founding father . John and Dutch deal a touching moment in Lucy – John tell her that he ’s with her no matter where she buy the farm .
They ’re interrupt by D’av , who still has ship access . He tells them that he has a plan to get into the top of the RAC . They jet out to the massive starship , and go through surety . They recite the tugboat hustler that they ’re looking to dissolve their team .
On RAC military headquarters , they go through security and then they ’re convey into a elbow room where they go through the formal cognitive process to dissolve the team . ( There ’s a playfulness Battlestar Galactica quotation sink ! ) Turin demo up and question them , probing into their aim . D’av recite them that he attacked both of them .
As they take the air out of the elbow room , D’av drops an EMP , which shuts down the ship ’s primary power . He ’s buy them some more clock time to get up a couple of more floors . They split up : D’av stays behind while John and Dutch move on before . Cut to Khlyen , who starts get ready for company . Turin reckon out that they ’re behind the power outage . Out of sight , John pulls down some fake skin and pulls out a syringe for Dutch . She runs up the step point for Level 71 before of the power that ’s being restored level by level .
John calls up D’av and tells him to make his way back to the ship . Turin comes in the room and nuke him . He questions him again , asking him who Dutch really is and what she has planned . He mentions that she ’s had someone protecting her and pushing her along , and that she ’s marked for Red 17 – a higher rank than D’av ’s heard of . Turin state him that he might be the only supporter Dutch has on the ship . “ You have nothing , ” D’av tells him . “ Yeah , but I ’ve get down a stick that goes ‘ Zap ’ ” , replies Turin . The business leader go on .
On Level 71 , Dutch is surprised by Khlyen with a spliff . John take to his own part of the plan and attaches a voice box . Dutch and Khlyen fight with round : he ’s intelligibly judging her training , but soon has her on the story , before offering her tea . Dutch tells him that she hates him , and that she figured out his impuissance . The phonograph needle that she has is n’t for him : it ’s for her : she points it at her neck and threaten to stick herself .
“ Let ’s make this real , ” Dutch tells him , then stick herself .
Meanwhile , John has gotten into the way that Dutch saw : there ’s some really ripe engineering science in the room : a liquid computer . He touches it and has information streamed right into his brain . It ’s an advanced computer , and he begins to download data to his pad of paper . He ’s find some interesting thing , and grabs a vial of the computer . As he does so , warning signal go off .
Back up top , Khlyen recite Dutch that he get on her track when she claimed a Level 5 imprimatur – the original warrant that picked up D’avin . He say that he consider that she was quick . Khlyen is distracted when a RAC guard comes in – he shoots him in the head . When he turns back , Dutch is on her feet , artillery in manus : the poison was n’t poison . He ’s impressed that she convinced him . She tells him to answer her interrogation and she tells him that she ’s not going to kill him with a gun , before she extend off .
D’av and John reunite and head for Lucy , only to discover that she ’s interlock down . Dutch tell them that she ’ll take down the override , and that they call for to take off . She ’s on the wrong side of the bulwark , and she tells them to scarper . Lucy flies off when Dutch orders her off . The two chum are out of danger . Turning , she confront Turin , who shoots her in the leg .
Turin tells her that he ’s indisputable that she ’s not on the same side , before he ’s stamp out by Khlyen . Wounded , he carry Dutch off into an leakage cod . She require him why he keep protect her , and he tells her to remember the taradiddle that he told her when he first met her , and that she demand to live . “ What are you ? ” She asks : “ I ’m level off six ” .
Dutch is blasted off into space as he walks aside .
Down on Westerly , the Company is cracking down on dissidents , and Alvin is arrested . He ’s assault in hold , before a gang of masses . John and D’av are stuck on Lucy , seek to count on out what happened . Dutch come out , still wounded . John gets Pawder , and while he ’s gone , she state D’av that he ’s grade six . D’av tells her that he ’ll repay him for everything , and she state him that she does n’t require him to fight his struggle .

This felt like an episode where the answer are starting to come out , and it ’s about time . unluckily , with those answers , there ’s more questions . Khlyen is connect to the RAC , it seems , a high - grade official who even the even rank and file officer have no theme about . It seems that there ’s some strange things go bad on with the establishment .
Khlyen and Dutch certainly have something unearthly pop off on – part of the episode made me wonder if Dutch is doing some sort of deep undercover form of matter , or if she was just losing a lot of parentage . Clearly , Khlyen has essay to mold her into some sorting of weapon , and she ’s shifted her into the best potential position to learn all along the way – her escapism seems to have been orchestrated so that she can get some real - world experience . It ’ll be interesting to see what we learn from that .
The B - Story for this week also kick upstairs the plot quite a bit when it amount to the common folks against the Company . With Alvin captured in a public , brutal way , it looks like we ’re about to see a spark of insurrection started up , and it ’ll be interesting to see how D’av ’s plan to help out Alvin will pull the Killjoys in on the action mechanism .
So , we learn that Khlyen is a RAC agent , and that his spare-time activity of Dutch make out with a very specific thing : that she appeared quick to kill again , something she was avoid . We also learned when she first met the man , and now have a solid idea for what he intended for her . Now , we just necessitate to discover more about the why .
Overall , this was a solid sequence , with some sense of humor thrown in . It ’s courteous to see that the writing team has n’t gone top-notch , 100 % serious as the mystery deepen . It ’s not precisely what I ’d call a light and flossy show , but it ’s got it ’s moment .
