So about half of last night ’s Bitten was a pretty compellingepisode . The plot against the Danvers magnified , someone gainsay Jeremy’sauthority as Alpha , and there was murder and torture . And then half of theepisode was spent in Toronto with Dull Boyfriend and his family in Toronto where nothing happens but torment .
Seriously , there is nothing even somewhat interesting aboutany of this shit , and even the show know it , because by the conclusion of “ Committed ” Elena has runback to Stonehaven where the military action is . Here ’s the “ highlight ” reel of the human shit : Elenatheoretically moves in with Dull Boyfriend , Dull Boyfriend ’s Awful Sister hasher marriage , Awful Mom is awful , Elena tells Dull Boyfriend about beingassaulted by Victor , and Logan ’s Slightly Less Dull Girlfriend is pregnant . None of it matters in the svelte .
Thankfully , the other parts of the installment are pretty good . People patently jazz the Pack is weak , so Nick is institutionalize to DC to talk to former Quaker called theStillwells , but the daddy ’s been murdered by Kane and the nonparallel Killwolf , whilethe Stillwell Logos is missing . A dipshit named Sam Boggs come to challenge Jeremy to be Alpha , but Jeremy easily kicks his ass , forces Clay to excruciate him to see out whosent him ( he was n’t smart enough to come on his own ) ; Clay ’s method acting of tortureis true pretty unique — he fend Boggs up against of one the downstairs ’ cage bars , and just Saran Wraps his headway to it ; before the hombre suffocates , Clay rips ahole for his mouth . Marsden institutionalize the guy , of course . Jeremy has Clay take out outthe werewolf ’s teeth to show his lastingness ( or at least that there areconsequences to challenging it ) .
So Clay scream Elena , upset because he ’s “ done horriblethings , ” even though he was set up to do those things by his mob leader andhe probably could n’t pass up to do them without getting kicked out or something . ButElena has trouble of her own , seeing as Santos has shown up at DullBoyfriend ’s Awful Sister ’s wedding , trying to convince Elena to team up withhim to stay out of the warfare between the Pack and the Mutts ( which he also claimsis entirely Clay ’s demerit , although again , if all he ’s been doing is followingJeremy ’s orders and what looks like normal Werewolf Law , I do n’t know whyanyone is discomfit specifically at him ) .
So as I cite earlier , Elena make up one’s mind to manoeuvre back toStonehaven pretty much immediately after bequeath there ; when she get herjacket from the pelage - check mark , there ’s a present for Jeremy in her air pocket , presumptively left bySantos — it ’s the Stilwell dad ’s middle , which had been carved out of his corpse . Although I ’m wondering if Santos really put them there — he ’s been try out to foolthe Pack so far , not threaten it , and most of what he aver to Elena is try out to make all these problem Clay ’s fault . I do n’t retrieve it makes sense for Santos stress to trick Elena , but then give up his plan 30 seconds later and allow test copy he ’s in cahoot with the evil Mutts for Elena in her pelage . Maybehe ’s being place up . Or maybe it ’s just defective writing . I do n’t know . But as long asit does n’t involve Dull Boyfriend ’s agonizingly dull household , I ’m okay with it .

• Speaking of , I ca n’t decide if Boggs saving his receiptsin order to get reimbursed for his cross - country trip to kill Jeremy ishorrible writing or legitimately the peculiar bloody thing ever .
• Seriously , you guys . Half the episode in Toronto , and we do n’t even get an update on theWerewolf Vodka selling campaign .
• Why did n’t Samuel Boggs just release into a beast when he was tied up ? Heobviously would have broken the Saran Wrap , and I imagine his restraint , too .
• So Logan ’s girlfriend is getting bump off next instalment , right ? There ’s no other reason to spend three whole scene with her in whichshe relays the same goddamn information over and over again unless they ’re tryingto make her sympathetic before killing her off . Sorry , Bitten . You have to makecharacters interesting before they can be sympathetic .
Shit That Still MakesNo Sense to Me About Bitten ’s Werewolf Society :
• Why do jam werewolves prevent other Mutts from settlingdown ? What adept does that do ? It just seems like petty harassment .
• Why , if it ’s Werewolf Law for Pack wolves to chivy theseMutts , does everyone detest Clay ? I mean , plainly he ’s responsible for for hisactions , but is n’t it werewolf smart set that ’s really at shift here ? Or Jeremy , because he ’s the one giving the ordering ?
• Why can Mutts gainsay Alphas ? Should n’t you have to be ina pack to gainsay ? I mean , even if a Mutt actually won , would n’t most membersof the Pack entrust anyhow and become Mutts rather than serve up some random asshole ?
