This one moderately much does what it enjoin on the tin . The face - morph , augmented - reality app you see here is the inspiration of New York artistKarolina Sobecka , who call the interface All the Universe is Full of the Lives of Perfect Creatures .
The name may be a mouthful , but the construct is totally brilliant in its capital punishment . Step in front of a mirror and you are greet by a three - dimensional , ghastly looking brute brain that mimics your movements and facial aspect . WritesPopSci ’s Rebecca Boyle :
You get a different animate being every time you walk in front of the mirror , and the animal ’s facial saying mirror and play off your own . mistreat back and the ghostly wolf flattens its ears ; draw in your lip and look on it unembellished its teeth ; laugh and an immorality , evil goat laughs with you .

Viewed from an angle ( like we see in the picture ) , the creature avatar appears to merely float in space ; but position yourself in front of the mirror and the hover head learn the position of your own .
“ The familiar is transformed into the uncanny , ” explain Sobecka , “ move us to see the mechanics of perception , interaction , and relationship with others anew . ”
That , and the unbelievable potential that this technology has for mark masses ’ pants off — can you envisage a theme green funhouse full of Perfect Creature mirror ?
