The carving serial is scream “ Yauansu I : The Origin of Geometry . ” Yuan means “ component , ” and su mean “ molding , ” so Yuansu loosely translate ( and is destine by Ri to stand for ) “ a comprehension of the gestalt of life . ” Indeed , these sculpture are certainly more than the total of their theatrical role .
Ri has also created a series of geometric structures . To make them , Ri place a queen bee in the midsection of a box . He then changes the position every seven days ( his hat tip to the Seven Days of Creation ) . The worker bees then build up natural beehive around the queer bee , get these unbelievable constitutional anatomical structure .

A beekeeper , Ri has been doing this since 2006 . His says his carving prove both the concordance and end when humans interact with nature . In this case , it demonstrate the wondrous results of generative collaboration .
