Witch burning , or just another excuse to trot out a fresh collection of mythological , black headwear ? severely can we talk about American Horror Story ’s collection of hat already ?
Sorry this review is previous , the computer ate my warrigal babe , or something . You know how it is these days . So let ’s get to it . This was kind of another filler installment . But again , even when American Horror Story is high-risk , it ’s corking ( TAKE NOTES ONCE UPON A TIME ) .
So lease ’s get into this . What did we learn ? Well , we learned that Kathy Bates was both a frightful bitch to her striver , and to her children …
Why was this discover ? Was this just another excuse to climb back into the torture attic and wrap out the terrible torturing porn and rotting material body from her menagerie of bloody slaves ? I was good on the whole LaLaurie is a bad mortal idea . Nevertheless , here we find ourselves again . Watching this charwoman sour her evil eye onto her spawn .
At first , I think this backstory was created in ordering to humanize the rotting corpses Wiccan opposer Marie Laveau yanked out of the solid ground . It ’s a clever spin , turning your own undead children against you . But alas , the zombie folk were quickly disposed of by Zoe and a chainsaw . No hatred on the chainsawing ; that was great . I just did n’t find a connection to the entire zombie act . We ’ve find out this before .
Perhaps American Horror Story desperately wants us to sympathize with LaLaurie . Was I hypothesize to feel botheration for her as she drove a spike through her undead daughter ’s back ? Sorry , that ’s go to be insufferable you put people in cages , stuff shit in their mouths , and tailor them shut . There will be no redemption for you here . No matter how kind you are to Queenie LaLaurie .
Thankfully , American Horror Story is so much more than cheap ploy for sexual love from undead girls . Because after the whole zombie story is enunciate and done , LaLaurie turn to Fiona and says , “ mayhap our shared disaster will fetch us nigher together . ” To which Fiona return , “ I doubt it . You are , after all , the maid . ” FUCK YEAH , FIONA .
What we did learn from this whole walker kerfuffle is that Zoe is CLEARLY the new Supreme . And is much stronger than anyone anticipate … interesting .
Moving on . The other ( much more interesting ) plot line was the combustion of the blood-red - headed witch Myrtle Snow . Who was catch LITERALLY crimson - handed with acid on her hands in front of the Coven , thus connect her to the blinding and disfiguring of Cordelia . Verdict : BURN THE WITCH .
How terribly awesome was take in Fiona flip the shit out on Myrtle in front of the Coven ?
Alas , IT WAS ALL A RUSE . Fiona manipulate caught with your hand in the acid jar with the help of Queenie . So if that was Fiona phony harebrained , I can not hold back to see her huffy , mad . This is decease to be fantastic .
So everyone dresses up in their safe black hoods and hats ( do it Queenie ’s hood here ) and maneuver off to the official crone burn post , which was smartly prepared with gravel so only the mail and the dupe would burn . This show imagine of everything . Myrtle gives up her long struggle with being the odd one out , but not before feed a heartbreaking lecture about being a loaner within the only place she ever felt she belonged ( it was sad ) .
And Fiona light the fire off of her butt . BECAUSE OF COURSE SHE DOES .
The end , but not really because Stevie Witch shows up and lend Myrtle back to life . Because that ’s what she does . Remaining thoughts :
We still do n’t know who the existent perpetrator was behind the pane throwing . I desire to say it ’s someone looking for vengeance . perchance one of Cordelia Foxx ’s husband ’s victims or someone related to one of his victims . What ’s the great deal with him anyway ? His whole function is completely * wildly motion hand in the air * fashion .
Queenie think she ’s the Supreme . We all know who the real Supreme is . Anyone kind of bummed it was n’t Nan ?
Speaking of Nan , my money is next week Nan and whats - his - side get some calibre screen time .
Holy shit , that panorama where Fiona bring back the baby ? WHAT WAS THAT ?
