The LEGO Movie has n’t even formally premiered yet , but Warner Bros. is already hot for a sequel . But this may not inevitably be good word .

The Wrapis account that Jared Stern , who indite The Internship and Mr. Popper ’s Penguins , has been hired to pen a sequel script . On the one hand , we ’re well-chosen that The LEGO Movie is already being deemed a success . Because it ’s freaking gravid . On the other hand , a big part of this celluloid ’s appealingness is due to director and screenplay writers Phil Lord & Christopher Miller . We already saw what happened when someone else made a sequel to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs without Lord and Miller demand .

Of course , none of this is confirmed — so we ’ll have to expect and see how this all plays out .
