A new uncovering suggests the Nazis made it further into the jungles of South America than antecedently realized . A team of Argentinian archaeologist say they ’ve bumble upon a mystic German den build by the Nazis during the Second World War .
As the Clarin newsprint isreporting , archaeologists from the University of Buenos Aires have discovered the corpse of three buildings in Teyu Cuare provincial park in northern Argentina . The structures were found alongside five German coins produced between 1938 and 1941 , and a shard of a porcelain plate carry the lettering “ Made in Germany . ” Intriguingly , the archaeologists also found Nazi symbols , inclueding the Hakenkreuz , carved onto the structure ’s walls .
Though more work is needed to confirm the finding , the archaeologists theorise that the construction , place near the Paraguayan perimeter , were intended to house high up - ranking Nazis look to escape prosecution after the Second World War .

One of the buildings looks like a look - out tower , while the other two may have been intended for trapping and storehouse . The site also features a numeral of apparent leak points . The archeologist describe it as a protected , secure site where the Nazis could live restfully .
“ We can happen no other explanation as to why anyone would build up these structure , at such heavy attempt and expense , in a site which at that fourth dimension was totally untouchable , away from the local community , with stuff which is not typical of the regional computer architecture , ” principal researcher Daniel Schavelzon told Clarin . “ evidently , midway through World War II , the Nazis had a secret project of build shelters for top leaders in the event of defeat — inaccessible web site , in the center of deserts , in the slew , on a drop-off or in the eye of the hobo camp like this . ”
